New build - Tunbridge wells
Our brief for this small, sloping new build garden was to create a space the clients could walk through that is cat friendly with year round interest whilst maintaining the slope.
A meandering cotswold stone path leads from the patio down through the garden to a sunken area for seating and a fire pit. Once the planting has matured the sunken area will be more secluded and will feel like an escape at the bottom of the garden.
The patio was extended to allow more dining space and an adjoining gravelled seating area offering different areas in the garden to sit and relax.
Small garden trees were used to add height and block certain views and a pergola was added for the addition of an occasional swing.
Lighting of the path and specimen trees extends the use of the garden into the evening.
